Why Fit Testing Matters

An ill-fitting mask can significantly reduce protection and expose workers to serious health risks. Fit testing verifies that the selected respirator forms an effective seal to the wearer’s face, providing the level of protection intended by the equipment.

Our Fit Testing Services Include:

​

• Qualitative Fit Testing only 

• Testing of disposable and reusable half-face

• Assessment of RPE use, fit, and suitability

• Education on correct donning, doffing, and maintenance

• Fit Test Certification (valid for 1 year or per risk assessment)
   

We test a wide range of commonly used brands and models, or we can work with the equipment you supply.

 

Who Needs Fit Testing

• Workers exposed to airborne contaminants (dust, chemicals, fumes, biological hazards)

• Staff required to wear tight-fitting respirators as part of standard PPE

• Teams in industries such as construction, healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, and emergency services​
  
  *Quantitative Fit Testing for full-face respirators and Powered Air-Purifying Respirators (PAPRs) is not currently offered.
